Norma Frances Zombro Gasper served with U.S. Navy Waves

Norma Frances Zombro was born in 1922 in Spring Mills. When she was 5, her newborn sister died at just a few weeks old. Later that same year, her father, a North Mountain Brick Plant worker, died about a week after undergoing a tonsillectomy at age 41.
